Y4 Trip – Wroxeter Roman City

October 31 @ 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

On Tuesday 31st October children in Year 4 will be visiting Wroxeter Roman City.

Children will discover the Roman settlement in Shropshire and will take part in a workshop to find out about Roman life.

Children will need to come to school suitably equipped for a day (full school uniform).

Please can you ensure that your child has a:-     Waterproof coat                        Good sensible shoes

Small healthy snack                  Water bottle

If the weather is warm please provide your child with sun cream and a sun hat.

We will be leaving school at 9.15am and returning at 2.30pm.

Asthma

If you child suffers from Asthma he/she can no longer take with them their inhaler they keep at school. On the day of the trip you must supply the school with a brand new inhaler prescribed by a doctor which is correctly named and within date. This inhaler will then be sent home at the end of the trip.

They will need a packed lunch; no fizzy drinks please, we recommend water to keep them hydrated throughout the day. If your child is entitled to a free school meal a packed lunch will be provided for them and children will not need cameras or spending money for this trip.

In order for the visit to take place HLC needs to raise funds by voluntary contributions. The visit can only go ahead if the level of financial support is sufficient.

The cost of the trip is £6.80 to be paid by Friday 20th October.
