Pastoral Support
We are the pastoral team and the main aim of this unit is to ensure that your child has a network of people around them that offer not just educational support but also social and emotional. The pastoral staff work with children right across school from Nursery to Year 6 as well as many different groups of parents. Support that the team offers varies considerably; one day it might be that a child just needs someone to talk to, another it might be that a child needs a little bit of extra support in class to stay focused. Whatever the children need from us, we are there. We are also the communication hub for the school and work to ensure that lines of communication between the classroom and home are strong.
