We are delighted to welcome you to HLC Primary School’s nursery! We work alongside the rest of the school, particularly our Reception teaching team, to provide fun, exciting experiences which support our children in ‘Finding our voices; learning though play!’

We offer morning and afternoon sessions from Monday to Friday with a capacity of 30 children in each. Our nursery is very much part of the school, and we actively take part in whole-school celebrations and themed days. Your child can join us in nursery the term after their third birthday and we know how much they will love learning through play, in our irresistible indoor and outdoor learning environments.

In a typical day, we will listen to stories, sing songs, dance, play, count, create, write, enjoy sharing some snack, and have lots of fun whilst we learn alongside our friends. We have a PE session each week, love to cook and invite parents in to our ‘Family Friday’ sessions. ‘Muddy Mondays’ are when we get to spend time exploring our amazing onsite forest area and get muddy, of course!
