School Uniform Information
Hadley Learning Community believes that the pride our students take in their appearance is a reflection of their attitude to their studies. Students should travel to and from school in full uniform.
Below you will find information and guidelines regarding our school uniform, what is compulsory and what is not acceptable as well as information regarding our 2 suppliers where you can purchase our school uniform.
Girls Uniform
- Grey pinafore or skirt
- Grey trousers
- White polo shirt (embroided with HLC logo)
- Royal Blue crew neck sweatshirt or Royal Blue 'V' neck cardigan (embroidered with HLC logo)
- Plain black or white socks
- Grey tights
- Black flat sensible shoes (no trainers or boots)
- A plain black headscarf may be worn for religious reasons
Note: any hair accessories need to be blue in colour
SUMMER OPTION
- Blue and white checked summer dress (knee length)
- Blue and white checked playsuit (knee length)
- Lightweight trousers may be worn under a summer dress for religious reasons - these cannot be leggings
PE KIT
- Royal blue T-shirt (embroidered with HLC logo)
- Royal blue shorts
Note: in colder weather plain navy jogging bottoms may be worn or for religous reasons (no leggings please) - Trainers
PE kit should be brought to school every Monday and taken home for laundering on Friday
BOYS UNIFORM

Again we would ask you to ensure that students arrive at school looking smart.

- Short Skirts
- Extra-wide flares
- Leggings
- Wide belts
- Strongly coloured, streaked hair
- Razor markings in the hair or eye-brows
- Nail varnish and false nails
- Earings (one pair of stud earring is allowed)
- Leather/Denim jackets
- 'Skinny' trousers
- Hot Pants
- Trainers
- Jewellery
- Shaven Heads
- Make up
- Body piercings
Where to buy our School Uniform
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
We reserve the right to challenge a students uniform if it is not compliant with the guidelines above and will ring parents if necessary. If students are wearing makeup or nail varnish then PSMs have wipes for students to use.

We have sourced a second supplier – My Clothing. This is an online service. As yet, they do not stock the PE kit, but are looking to do so in the future. http://www.myclothing.com
At the end of each term we hold a second-hand uniform stall (subject to enough supply) where you can pick up donated uniform.
