HLC Student Parliament


Welcome to HLC Student Parliament

At HLC we believe it is important that our students have an important say in the learning and organisation of our school. Our parliament members are a proactive group of students, elected by others, to ensure our school has a strong pupil voice. With the support of HLC staff the parliament meet regularly to discuss and evaluate changes within the Primary Phase.

Playtimes and Friends

Our parliament met recently to think about how our play times could be improved. We talked about looking after the toys, putting them away and ordering some new ones. School Parliament makes changes!

Our School Parliament, after research from our pupils, have made adjustments to our school dinner menu. On Friday we have now introduced tomato ketchup to have with our dinner. We have also changed our Friday menu from pizza to fish and chips as more children liked this option
