2018 Examination Results


In 2018 we were delighted to report yet another year of excellent GCSE examination results. In 2018, Mathematics and English GCSEs have been graded using the new system of 1-9 (9 being the top grade). Students made outstanding progress across both subjects with students achieving the very top grade.

HLC was recently named the best non-selective school in Telford and Wrekin borough after achieving a Progress 8 measure of +0.33, which places the school significantly above national average. HLC has been ranked fourth in the country for student progress when measured against similar schools.
