Prior to this, my career has been based in Sandwell, most recently at the Shireland Collegiate Academy. I was the Director of Sport before leading a consortium of 6th form colleges.

I initially taught Design and Technology in two secondary schools in Staffordshire from 2001, prior to moving to Shropshire in 2008, where I was appointed as Head of Design & Technology at BRJ Catholic College.

I started my teaching career in Birmingham prior to relocating to Telford. I joined HLC in September 2006 when it opened as a teacher of Mathematics. I held the position of Subject Leader for Mathematics at the school for three years before being appointed Assistant Headteacher in September 2013. Alongside my senior role, I continue to teach Mathematics.
